TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> March 5, 1998 <br /> Meeting called to order at 7:00 p.m. <br /> Members present: Steven R. Ball, John T. Doherty and Robert F. Cram, Sr. <br /> THE TAPE IS NOT PART OF THE MEETING IT IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF <br /> TRANSCRIPTION ONLY. <br /> Mr. Steven R. Ball, Chairman <br /> 1.) Warrants signed. <br /> 2.) Mr. Cram motioned to accept the minutes of February 19, 1998, Mr. Ball <br /> seconded. <br /> 3.) Preliminary subdivision plan. John Druley - Mr. Evans stated, "This is a proposed <br /> three lot subdivision." "Town water will service the dwellings." <br /> Mr. Ball stated, "Leaching facilities will be placed towards the road." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to approve preliminary plans with the stipulation each leaching <br /> facility is located towards the road and the installation of m.d.c. type road drains, Mr. Ball <br /> seconded, all agreed. <br /> 4.) Variance request, 156 Waterway - Mr. Evans relayed, "In order to maintain a 20' <br /> distance from the existing basement and a 104' separation from existing wetlands the <br /> applicant is requesting a 4' sideline variance." <br /> Mr. Cram motioned to grant a 4' sideline variance, Mr. Ball seconded, all agreed. <br /> 5.) Groundwater sampling results Mashpee Landfill - Mr. Cram relayed, "Mr. <br /> McQuaid did inform me that he has notified D.E.P.." <br /> Mr. Evans stated, "Mr. McQuaid did leave a note to inform the Board that <br /> although there were high levels of arsenic and cadnium they are only reportable in <br /> groundwater." "This analysis was from surface waters." <br />
