MINUTES April 13, 2000 3 BOARD OF HEALTH <br /> APPOINTMENT: New Seabury re: Ocean Bluff Cottage and Other Permit Extension <br /> Requests <br /> Mr. Michael Grotzke of New Seabury was in attendance for this scheduled <br /> appointment. <br /> 6. Emergency Failure Certification <br /> 237 Route 130 <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 39 Cordwood Road <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 83 Brewster Road <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> 36 Vista Circle <br /> Board members forwarded their signatures to the Emergency Failure <br /> Certification form. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> a. 81 Lovell's Lane <br /> Ms. Warden indicated that she had received a call from the Fire Department to <br /> go to 81 Lovell's Lane for an incident of possible carbon monoxide poisoning. <br /> She went out to the property, which was a trailer behind the house. She found <br /> that the reading was 267 and the normal reading should be between 50-60. <br /> The occupant is a young, pregnant woman with a baby who was hospitalized <br /> recently with severe carbon monoxide poisoning. Ms. Warden condemned the <br /> house at 1:05 p.m. on Thursday, December 9, 1999 with the assistance of the <br /> Police Department. She indicated that the Board of Health is not required to <br /> house the occupants, however they will help them try to relocate. The <br /> occupants were given 24 hours to clean out the trailer, but they would not be <br /> permitted to stay there overnight. Ms. Warden will return to the house at 3:00 <br /> p.m. on Friday, December 10, 1999 with representatives from the Department <br /> of Public Works and Police Departments to Board up the trailer. The owner of <br /> the trailer, Mrs. Edwards, stated that she had no intention of fixing the trailer. <br /> b. Transfer Station Complaint <br /> Ms. Sophie Selados submitted a complaint letter regarding her treatment by <br /> F transfer station operator, Maurice Cassanelli. <br />`` Board acknowledged. <br /> SOLID WASTE HAULERS PUBLIC HEARING RE: RECYCLING: <br /> iY _ <br />
