Minutes of Comb4ed Meeting of <br /> Mashpee Design Review Committee and <br /> Mashpee Plan Review Committee <br /> Held Thursday,January 24, 2008 <br /> Mashpee Town Hall Meeting Room 1 <br /> Design Review Members Present: Thomas O'Hara,Robert Nelson, and Richard Stevens. <br /> Plan Review Members Present: <br /> Richard Stevens, Building Inspector <br /> Sheldon Hamblin, Deputy Fire Chief <br /> Glen Harrington, Health Agent <br /> Drew McManus, Conservation Agent <br /> Tom Fudala,Town Planner <br /> Catherine Laurent,Interim Director DPW <br /> Charlie Maintanis, Local Inspector <br /> Joel Clifford—Fire Department <br /> AI Todino—Police Department <br /> Audience: Robert Wooldridge—Americans with Disabilities Act Committee <br /> Richard Stevens called the meeting to order at 9:10 a.m. <br /> PROJECTS FOR REVIEW: <br /> Caleb Bickford <br /> Unit 9, 56 Bowdoin Road <br /> Detailing Business <br /> Caleb Bickford and Richard Bickford appeared and Caleb Bickford said he plans on operating a <br /> small detail business doing mainly interior work at the bay. They will drive cars to the car wash <br /> at either Mashpee Rotary or at Route 130. They estimate to do 2 to 3 cars per day. They have 5 <br /> parking spaces out back. They commented that the biggest concern might be drainage of dirty <br /> soapy water and that's why they'll take cars to the car wash. They are researching <br /> environmentally safe products for their detailing business. Glen Harrington stated that the biggest <br /> problem was ground water. Glen added that there are other restrictions, including no engine <br /> cleaning. According to Mr. Bickford, he will not be using any flammable products nor any <br /> solvents. Since Mr. Bickford said they are still going to do wet wipe down at the site, Glen said <br /> that it has to be done on a bucket-by-bucket basis but don't dump outside. <br /> Conclusion: Mr. Bickford to contact Rich Stevens to look into special permit via ZBA. <br />
