ECONOMICD COMMITTEE DEVELOPMENT COMMI MINUTES <br /> JUNE 25, 1996 <br /> Tom Potts called the EDC meeting to order at 7: 00 p.m. at the <br /> Senior Center. <br /> Members present: Tom Potts , Paul Reynolds , Ted Lewis, Sharon <br /> Koblinsky . <br /> Alternate members present: Steve Kyros, Mike Schmidt, Cynthia <br /> Green. <br /> Also present: Wayne Duchemin, EDC Coordinator <br /> The Minutes of June 11, 1996 were accepted as presented. <br /> Binders with dividers and pockets were distributed to the <br /> membership, and Minutes will be 3-hole punched for better <br /> organization. <br /> The Cape Cod Commission Reporter and Boch Center flyer were <br /> circulated. Paul handed out copies of an article entitled "City <br /> Governments Go on Line. " <br /> Tom reviewed invoices that were submitted as follows: <br /> - Paul stated Pagemaker was purchased for $552 . <br /> - Steve Kyros purchased ads with New England Journal for $500 . <br /> - Welcome sign maintenance was paid in the amount of $945 . <br /> - Wayne stated the Cole Directory was purchased for $186 . <br /> - The Maxm invoice has been processed. <br /> Ted Lewis will ask Diane Romelmeyer, Treasurer, what EDC' s <br /> balance is in their FY96 budget; he estimated around $17 . <br /> Wayne received a quote of $98 for notepads and business cards; <br /> this purchase was tabled until next year. <br /> Tom reported on the Mt. Auburn public hearing held last Thursday. <br /> There were approximately 10 people who attended, among them <br /> were Curtis Frye, Mr. Babcock, Mr. & Mrs. Grace. The Graces <br /> are interested in the marketing of EDC, and they offered the <br /> use of their facility (Doreen Grace Brain Center) . No one from <br /> the press nor cable was present. <br /> Tom noted one suggestion that came from the hearing was creating <br /> a community bulletin board to announce events in town. Some <br /> locations could be the Senior Center, Library, Mashpee Commons , <br />
