,Artic'*of Incor oration Federal ID number—volunteers needed <br /> Terrie Cook asked for a volunteer to prepare the Articles of Incorporation and Federal ID request for the EDIC. <br /> Ken Marsters volunteered. When his draft Articles and Fed ID application is complete, he will run it by Mary and <br /> then the full EDIC Board prior to a formal submission. <br /> Old Business <br /> Organization of EDIC;Rules &Regulations; Policies—Carol Sherman and Tom May <br /> This book will be updated to include Ken Marsters Conflict of Interest form and Discriminatory Harassment forms <br /> from Bob Cobuzzi and Ken Marsters. Also,these rules will be added to the book as policies. <br /> It was suggested that the Board draft a new policy for annual re-organization. <br /> Mashpee's Guide for Business—Carol Sherman <br /> Carol Sherman presented her ideas for what should be included in the Guide. She suggested that perhaps ADA <br /> rules should be included,however after discussion of the Board it was decided that specific rules such as this <br /> should be called out,rather just leave it as a part of the Building Code which must be followed. <br /> Carol asked the other Board members to forward and ideas or input they may have to her for inclusion in the Guide. <br /> Carol and Tom Mayo will compile the Guide and distribute to the EDIC Board for further comment at the next <br /> meeting. <br /> Update on Lot on Industrial Drive—Dino Mitrokostas &Ken Marsters <br /> Tom Mayo explained to the group that the EDIC's enabling legislation required the development of an Economic <br /> Development Plan before any property can be sold or otherwise dealt with by the EDIC. As a result,Mr. Mayo <br /> offered to put together a handout at the next meeting highlighting these requirements with suggestions on what the <br /> EDIC's next steps should be. <br /> Terrie Cook suggested that a working group be formed to discuss the need for an Economic Development Plan. <br /> Terrie Cook, Ken Marsters,Carol Sherman and Tom Mayo volunteered to form the working group. The will meet <br /> at 2:30p on Tuesday May 22nd. The working group will report back to the EDIC Board at the next meeting. <br /> Report of meeting with CCEDC May 3, 2012 —Mary LeClair and Terrie Cook <br /> Terrie Cook reported that this was a good meeting with an important and influential group. She and Michael <br /> Gallaso presented the results of the Mashpee/Falmouth Economic Development Partnership Plan. <br /> At this meeting,Paul Niedzwicki, Director of the Cape Cod Commission, requested to come to a Board of Selectme <br /> meeting to discuss the land-use vision map and priority development areas. He would like to work with the EDIC <br /> for this presentation. The EDIC Board asked Tom Mayo to contact Mr.Niedzwicki and set up a meeting. <br /> Discussion of possible future meeting dates <br /> Next meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 30'x, 2012. <br /> Adiournment <br /> Carol Sherman motioned to adjourn the meeting; Mary LeClair seconded the motion.
