Finance Committee <br /> mbers were in full agreement with Murphy's comments. <br /> The Police budget figures are as follows: <br /> Chief' s Salary $46,284.24 <br /> Deputy Chief's Salary 38,772.08 <br /> Patrolmen & Sgts. Salary 506,983.07 <br /> Police Wages 218,405.24 <br /> Maintenance Salary 20,618.00 <br /> Dispatcher's Salary 85 ,613.20 <br /> Clerical Salaries 31,869.00 <br /> Police Expense 109,657 .78 <br /> Dispatcher Wages 22,844.65 <br /> Communications 42,219.20 <br /> Cruisers 42 ,414.00 <br /> Murphy noted that he thought some of these accounts could be combined <br /> to a Personnel Services Account and this would eliminate coming back at <br /> wn Meeting to transfer money from one account to the other. This budget <br /> 11 be resubmitted combining accounts. <br /> Chairman Heller inquired about the failure of the communications system <br /> the Police Station to record incoming Fire emergency calls. Frye noted that <br /> ere is a malfunction in the system and the technicians from the manufacturer <br /> e working on it, however, to date it has not been remedied. Frye noted that <br /> will either have to be fixed or removed. <br /> The Finance Committee members proceeded to review budgets that will be <br /> scussed at the next Finance Committee Meeting, March 3, 1988.
