TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> • PERSONNEL BOARD <br /> Minutes of Meeting, May 12, 1976,- 7:30 p.m. <br /> PRESENT: W.S. Clendenin, C.A. Brown, F. Leonardi, R.'A; Graham <br /> Interviews were- conducted for applicants living,in;Mashpee for the position <br /> of secretary in the Indian Museum. Paul Mills , Interiin .Curator for the Museum <br /> attended. It was decided that Mr. Mills would go over the applications of those <br /> other than Mashpee residents who were not interviewed, with the expectation of <br /> further interviews next 'week.' Those 'interviewed:were'Ma Ruth Crowley, Geraldine <br /> Gildea, Debra Costa,.and'Karen A. Gumbert: ' <br /> appent, Nancy 1.9 Martin ;did no Fk�.Z ,. <br /> n ne we <br /> A letterwill be sent to the Board of Selectmen stating that at this meeting <br /> the Personnel Board unanimously voted to request the'Seleetmen to review the <br /> status of Detective Costa; that the Personnel Board has and will recommend that <br /> he be ordered back to work as a police officer with suitable duties. . <br /> A letter will go to the Board of Selectmen, cc George Green in reply to <br /> their letter of May 3, 1976: Raymond Martini has never been a permanent employee <br /> of the Town and for that reason is not entitled to fringe benefits such as <br /> vacation days. The Board did approve a vacation with pay for Mr. Martini on <br /> 12/24/75L because of extenuating circumstances, but only for that specific instance. <br /> • (Mr. Martini is terminating his employment and there had been a request for accrued <br /> vacation pay.) <br /> The Personnel Board will write to the Selectmen stating that it does not <br /> have any recommendations for re-appointments. {�L, <br /> In connection with letters dated April 26, and May 3. 1976, the Board will <br /> write to Chief Bingham stating that the Board approves Patrolman Kokmeyer's <br /> request to have his previously approved vacation changed to sick leave. As a <br /> result of the advance of five days vacation from the fiscal year 76/77, the Board <br /> has voted not to give any additional ddvanced sick leave or,vacation days. He <br /> will remain on a non-paid basis for any additional sick or vacation leave taken <br /> in this fiscal year, and as for sick leave this will not again begin to accrue <br /> until .November 1,19761" , <br /> Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:45 p.m. <br /> Respectfully submitted, <br />
