We need a bus. No location is near the beach. We had to hire a bus at <br />approximately $60.00 per day. Pat Riley asked about the price of a new bus. A <br />discussion on bus and expenses took place. <br />Gus mentioned that he discussed with principals use of schedule and need for <br />running programs in the summer and the conflict with cleaning of building. <br />Gus is looking at hiring a part-time camp registrar next year. Also looking at <br />bringing someone in to assist in registrations. Would like to have more training <br />for our staff next year. Would like Peggy Geary to head up all the camp <br />programs. <br />Gus mentioned that he is still trying to get licensed for both schools for Kids <br />Klub After -School. We will need staffing at the time. Peggy would supervise <br />between the two sites. <br />c. Revolving - Until we get all our programs up and running on our computers, <br />we are using Town Accountant's information. Fiscal year 1996/1997 total <br />balance is $23,646.00. We should have no more that $15,000.00 at the end <br />of fiscal year., At this time of year we still have expenses to pay. During <br />July we had expenses of $17,000 for income. <br />d. Rec. Plan - Still need to finalize. Gus will have Kim look over the new <br />Human Services manual. <br />e. Gus is working with Bob Sullivan to finalize installation. Moved swing <br />from the back of town hall to Rec. Building. Swing set put up at John's <br />Pond. <br />f. Application for Rec. Bldg. Went into Government for approximately <br />$600,000.00. We should know by mid-November if we get this grant. <br />V New Business - <br />a. Fall Programming - Kids Klub After School and Kids Klub Before School - <br />Both Programs are filled. Looking at finalizing licensing K-3 at both <br />schools. Club 46 and will be at Quashnet Valley. Fire Department will <br />have to inspect the Home Ec room. Most of the paperwork has been <br />completed to include both sites. date to November 1" took place. <br />b. The Halloween Parade will be October 25th at 11:00 AM. Discussion to <br />change Still need replacement for Linda Young. <br />c. Boosters Club Haunted Hay Ride will be by the Rec. Building. <br />Volunteers still needed for October l lt' Oktoberfest. <br />
