We need a bus. No location is near the beach. We had to hire a bus at approximately $60.00 per day. Pat Riley asked about the price of a new bus. A discussion on bus and expenses took place. Gus mentioned that he discussed with principals use of schedule and need for running programs in the summer and the conflict with cleaning of building. Gus is looking at hiring a part-time camp registrar next year. Also looking at bringing someone in to assist in registrations. Would like to have more training for our staff next year. Would like Peggy Geary to head up all the camp programs. Gus mentioned that he is still trying to get licensed for both schools for Kids Klub After -School. We will need staffing at the time. Peggy would supervise between the two sites. c. Revolving - Until we get all our programs up and running on our computers, we are using Town Accountant's information. Fiscal year 1996/1997 total balance is $23,646.00. We should have no more that $15,000.00 at the end of fiscal year., At this time of year we still have expenses to pay. During July we had expenses of $17,000 for income. d. Rec. Plan - Still need to finalize. Gus will have Kim look over the new Human Services manual. e. Gus is working with Bob Sullivan to finalize installation. Moved swing from the back of town hall to Rec. Building. Swing set put up at John's Pond. f. Application for Rec. Bldg. Went into Government for approximately $600,000.00. We should know by mid-November if we get this grant. V New Business - a. Fall Programming - Kids Klub After School and Kids Klub Before School - Both Programs are filled. Looking at finalizing licensing K-3 at both schools. Club 46 and will be at Quashnet Valley. Fire Department will have to inspect the Home Ec room. Most of the paperwork has been completed to include both sites. date to November 1" took place. b. The Halloween Parade will be October 25th at 11:00 AM. Discussion to change Still need replacement for Linda Young. c. Boosters Club Haunted Hay Ride will be by the Rec. Building.
