SECRETARY'S REPORT 6:43PM <br /> There was a"no quorum"for the April 25th meeting, and no minutes were taken. Gus Frederick <br /> asked for any comments or corrections on Minutes from March 28, 1995 meeting. George Costa made a <br /> motion to approve the Minutes of the Meeting of March 28th with Cathy West seconding. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> III. COMMUNICATIONS - 6:45pm <br /> FAMILY PRESERVATION GRANT APPLICATION <br /> Gus Frederick gave the Committee an update on a"Family Preservation"Grant application on <br /> behalf of the Barnstable County Human Service Coalition, and the Cape Cod Neighborhood Support <br /> Coalition. This Grant would provide between$50,000 - $250,000 for developing programs supporting <br /> Families and neighborhoods in the Mashpee/Falmouth area. More info to follow next month upon <br /> approval. <br /> LETTER FROM SUSAN LINDBERG <br /> Gus Frederick reported on a letter from Mrs. Susan Lindberg regarding development of a'Teen Center' <br /> for High School aged youth in town. She indicated that she and her son would be interested in <br /> helping out on this project. Gus indicated that he would contact Mrs. Lindberg, and ask for her <br /> assistance. <br /> lV. REPORTS - 6:46pm <br /> A. Old Business - <br /> 1. Membership <br /> Discussion again revolved around the need for increasing the number of regular members to our <br /> committee. Presently we have (2) openings. Gordon Harris and Gus Frederick indicated that they will <br /> look at finding additional committee members. Gordon indicated that he would ask Morgan Peters if <br /> he would have the time to devote to our Committee. Gus indicated that he would contact Pat Riley, as <br /> he had previously indicated that he would be interested in serving on a Committee. More info next <br /> month. <br /> 2. Together We Can <br /> A short discussion revolved around redevelopment of the Together We Can Committee. More to follow. <br /> A short discussion revolved around the new"Solutions" Mashpee Edition newsletter. <br />
