CALABRO
Educational Planning and Services
235 Pond Street Cohasset, MA 02025 617-383-0992 office/fax
FAX MESSAGE Date:_5/7/94_ Time_13:00_
To Dr. Lincoln DeMoura
Supt/Schools Mashpee, MA
FAX Number 508-477-5805 /
Total Pages including this cover sheet: G
At the May 5, 1994, meeting of the High School Building
Committee, the question of how many volumes to plan for in
the high school library arose. Using the attached materials
as guidelines for an 1180 pupil high school, a figure of 20
volumes per student or 23,600 volumes appears reasonable.
Using one set of the attached references, a range of 20,060
to 28,320 volumes may be calculated. Using the other, a .
range of 16,520 to 24,780 volumes may be established. I am
sure that the Committee will be interested in discussing
these figures and arriving at consensus on a number.
will you please pass this on to all those needing to know
this information.
a1
lz
