**Paul made a motion to forward to Selectmen Cape and Islands Tennis and Track's <br /> contract to be executed. . Merry Sue seconded the motion. <br /> Paul explained this is one of the contractor's we accepted as a subcontractor from Stone to <br /> complete the track surface. <br /> Merry Sue asked if it will be our subcontractor?Paul said they will work for the High School <br /> Building Committee. <br /> Joe asked how much the contract is for? The original contract was for$73,520, $38,000 is <br /> remaining. <br /> ** All members were in favor 4-0** <br /> Joe asked who will do quality control for the remaining work? Jim Byrne, Ian Aitchison and <br /> SMMA. <br /> Merry Sue asked about the fields and any maintenance plan for them? <br /> Stone put sod down in the infield of the original baseball and softball field. The other fields <br /> (new)are PA Landers contract. <br /> We have a plan with the landscaper for cutting and fertilizing of the fields through June 1': They <br /> will continue to work on the football field. <br /> Dr. DeMoura would like something in writing stating effective June 1 the school's contractor <br /> can begin work. Jim will schedule a meeting with all everyone involved. <br /> Ron Bok said he has tried to schedule all games for September away but he needs to know as <br /> soon as possible if they fields won't be ready for home games in October. <br /> Jim said the intent is for the fields to be ready in the fall. He would like for people to keep off of <br /> them now. <br /> Paul said we will always see some peak and valley in the fields. There is money to top dress <br /> them as needed. <br /> Jim asked if the Committee wants a gravel road near the sewage treatment plant or should PA <br /> Landers loam and seed it? The Committee would like it loamed and seeded. They also want <br /> Landers to continue to lock that gate. <br /> Jim explained that Landers submitted a pay requisition for 98%but they are not 98% complete <br /> so Jim did not bring it to the Committee. <br /> Ron Bock asked about the scoreboard? We will research the minutes to determine if the <br /> Committee approved it, if they have the school department can go buy it. <br /> He also asked the status of the lighting at the fields?
