Curriculum Sub-Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> January 28, 2013 <br /> Present: Debra Goulart, Phyllis Sprout, Dave Bloomfield, Mark Balastracci <br /> Meeting began at 3:00. <br /> Four agenda items: <br /> 1. Review Middle School Math Curriculum — Dave compared the CMP math <br /> k <br /> book to the Singapore Math book and declared the Singapore Math boo to be <br /> better than CMP although CMP is good. <br /> Ms. Sprout asked that I look into the change at the Mullen Hall School since they <br /> recently switched from Everyday Math to Singapore Math. <br /> 2. PARCC Assessment Update — One can comment and give feedback on the <br /> assessment by February 4, 2013 <br /> 3. Foreign Language in the Elementary Schools—This item is tabled until after the <br /> meeting which is scheduled for next week. <br /> 4. Review Curriculum Revisions — check the district's website for updated <br /> curriculum <br /> The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26 at 3:00 in the office of the <br /> Curriculum Director. <br /> The meeting concluded at 4:05. <br /> Respectfully submitted by Deb Goulart 6� <br />
