Curriculum Sub-Committee Meeting Minutes <br /> February 26, 2013 <br /> Present:Dave Bloomfield, Debra Goulart, Jane Day, Lindsey Kett <br /> Meeting began at 3:05. <br /> Three agenda items: <br /> Agenda item number one—Mashpee High School's Program P g g m of Studies additions and <br /> deletions were discussed. There are two changes: <br /> *Change the name of Natural History of Cape Cod to Ecology of Cape Cod to minimize <br /> confusion as to whether the course is a history or science course. <br /> *Add Wellness I—The culinary, health, and physical education departments have <br /> developed a new course for freshmen that"will provide students with the information and <br /> skills necessary to develop and maintain lifelong total personal wellness". <br /> These changes were approved. <br /> Agenda item number two—continuing math discussion was tabled until the next <br /> meeting(date tbd). <br /> Agenda item number three—foreign language for the elementary schools was also <br /> tabled as the committee has not been able to meet. <br /> The meeting concluded at 3:50. <br /> Respectfully submitted by Deb Goulart <br />
