Two parents, one <br /> school committee member, 3 presenters and family of presenters were in attendance.This meeting was <br /> held in the Quashnet School Library. <br /> • Review of the minutes from the February 12, 2014 meeting was tabled until next meeting for a <br /> vote. <br /> • Handouts were distributed for the following: <br /> 4 Social Skills Group—South Bay Mental Health <br /> -il, Learning Disability Support Services Program- O'Neill Center,Cape Cod Community <br /> College <br /> 4 TRIO Student Support Services—Cape Cod Community College <br /> :4 Cape & Islands Transition Resource Guide <br /> 4 Q& A for Students,Vocational Rehabilitation Services—MA Rehab Commission <br /> d Q&A for Parents,Vocational Rehabilitation Services—MA Rehab Commission <br /> d A Family Guide to Rehabilitation Services—MA Rehab Commission <br /> 1 Consumer Handbook—Vocational Division, MA Rehab Commission <br /> • A first year college student and graduate of Mashpee High School provided insight into the <br /> transition from high school to college.Zachary and his family answered many questions about <br /> the college experience and the resources available for accommodation while enrolled in college. <br /> The College Internship Program and resources from the Pilgrim Collaborative were discussed. <br /> • Ted Mello, MA and Diane DaCruz-Pocknett, MA from Mass Rehabilitation Commission gave a <br /> presentation about the services provided by Mass Rehab Commission,the process of obtaining <br /> services, and the collaborative between the school system and the Commission.
