MASHPEE HIGH SCHOOL BUILDING COMMITTEE <br /> TUESDAY, JULY 2 , 1996 <br /> HIGH SCHOOL SITE <br /> Present : Merry Sue Ahlgren, Bill Martiros , Steve Greelish, <br /> Janice Mills , Peter Dinizio, Paul Griffin <br /> Also Present: Joel Seeley, Tom Wren, Ian Aitchison <br /> Meeting convened at 4 : 15 p.m. <br /> Paul Griffin was not yet present , Steve Greelish ran the meeting . <br /> MINUTES <br /> ** Merry Sue made a motion to accept the minutes of June 11 <br /> and May 28th. Steve seconded the motion. All members <br /> were in favor 5-0** <br /> CONSTRUCTION PROGRESS/INTERIM PAYMENT <br /> Interim payment: Joel explained Stone sent the payment <br /> requisition in late, then Fed Exed 6 final copies. There has been <br /> no discussion or review with Stone. <br /> Stone ' s original request was for $1 , 793 , 000 , final certified <br /> amount is $1 , 174 , 000 . <br /> Tom said Chartwell does not have their usual recommendation <br /> letter, but will get it out tomorrow morning . EOE and prevailing <br /> wage are in their usual condition. Stone has done everything <br /> they can regarding this issue . <br /> Steve asked where the $500 ,000 difference is? <br /> Joel explained: -general conditions was reduced by 5% (to 82%) <br /> -asphalt, amount asked for was higher than what is in <br /> - grass for ballfields, were previously paid for, the condition <br /> has become unacceptable , this amount was reduced. <br /> -landscape material not on site but was in the requisition. <br /> - masonry, not at the point shown on the req. <br /> - fire stopping : not completed <br /> - roofing : not at 98% yet <br /> - curtain wall : not at the percentage they are asking for <br /> - painting: also not at the percentage asking for <br /> - fixed casework: was the big difference . They were asking for <br /> 93%. <br /> Tom said Stone needs to be achieving $2 million per month over <br /> the next 2 months . <br /> ** Steve made a motion to forward to the Selectmen for <br /> approval and payment Stone ' s payment request in the <br /> amount of $1 , 174 , 655 . Merry Sue seconded the motion. <br /> All members were in favor 5-0** <br /> Impact of Water Infiltration. <br /> Joel said he is still waiting for the report from Occuhealth. <br /> 1 <br />
