The wiring for this <br /> system shall be low energy fire alarm wire rated at 106 centigrade. ,,' t <br /> JIf the layout of a particular structure offers common hallways there <br /> shall be smoke detectors in each hallway which are wired to the low <br /> voltage alarm system, the number and location to be determined by <br /> the Fire Chief. Each of these hallway smoke detectors shall be equipped <br /> with at least nine (9) second delay capacitor and screen. Also, if <br /> common hallways exist and if the Fire Chief deems them necessary, pull <br /> stations shall be installed at either end of these common hallways ;ilr'I <br /> located as recommended by the Massachusetts State Building Code. <br /> Also if deemed necessary by the Fire Chief, an announciator panel Ire, <br /> shall be installed in a common hallway with the number of zones and <br /> locations of said box negotiable. <br /> Within this low voltage alarm system within each building or structure ; k}, <br /> there shall be installed exterior audible bells or horns as prescribed by ���;'-;' <br /> the Fire Chief. In any multi-family dwelling complex where deemed �� !, <br /> necessary by the Fire Chief, there shall be an exterior rotating beacon >, <br /> light located as prescribed by the Fire Chief. <br /> The above mentioned bells or horns shall also be installed in the <br /> common hallways, where they exist in any given building or structure. <br /> These bells or horns must be loud enough to be heard in any room in <br /> any unit within any given building or structure. <br /> fr The alarm systems mandated by the By-Law for all existing multi-dwelling <br /> buildings or structures, must comply with the standards set forth herein, ,';' <br /> implementation period of twenty-four months after (,�I' <br /> within a maximum p <br /> notification by the Fire Chief. <br /> Maintenance of all installed systems is crucial.
