TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> SPECIAL TOWN MEETINGa <br /> MAY 4, 1981 <br /> THE COMMONWEALTH OF MASSACHUSETTS IT <br /> Barnstable, ss: <br /> To the Constable of the Town of Mashpee Greetings: � 'f <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts <br /> , you are hereby <br /> directed to notify and summons the inhabitants of the Town of <br /> Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the election, to meet at the <br /> Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the fourth day. of May, 1981 , at <br /> seven o'clock, p.m. for the following purposes: <br /> To act on the Articles Contained in the following warrant : <br /> A quourum present, Moderator Frank Leonardi called the meeting ',, <br /> 'to order at 7:15 p.m. <br /> ARTICLE 1 . To see if the Town will vote to authorize the Board bf <br /> Selectmen to lease for not more than ten years the structure that 1' <br /> formerly housed the Town Hall and a U.S.O. , and the structure used <br /> 4s a recreation building, with terms to be negotiated by the Bdard <br /> that include use of the buildings by the Town and by other commun- <br /> ity organizations, or take any other action related thereto, <br /> s ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 1 be accepted as read. ;' <br /> Motion carried. <br /> ARTICLE 2. To see if the Town will vote to transfer from available <br /> funds .the sum of $10,000 to the Maintenance and Small Construction <br /> Account, or take any other action related thereto. <br /> ` k ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer the sum of $8,200 from <br /> r the Police Sergeant and Patrolmens Wage Account and the sum of i <br /> y1 ;80arfrdm the Police Chiefs Salary Account to the Maintenance <br /> and Small Construction Account. To see if:-.the Town will vote to transfer from available <br /> funds the sum of $602.00 to reimburse the Federal Emergency Man- <br /> agement-Agency for an overpayment made to the Town as part of the <br /> Federal Disaster Assistance Program, or take any action related <br /> thereto. <br /> ACTION: Moved and seconded to transfer from the Executive Secretary' s , ! <br /> Salary ."sccount the sum of $602.00 to reimburse the Federal Emergency <br /> Management Agency. .
