To see if the Town will vote to accept the Reports of °± Town Officers . a, Moved and seconded to accept the Reports of Town Officers. ACTION: Motion carried. Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the continuance ! f, of the Government Study Committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen in 1980, said Committee to further report on its activities to the Selectmen and Citizens by January 1, 1982, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 3 be accepted- as read. I''} Motion defeated. Ammendment to main motion reads: The Town vote to authorize the continuance of the Government Study Committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen '-in 1980, said committee to hold a Public Hearing within 90 days of appointment, to allow Public input and to further hold a Public Hearing 90 days u from the date of the first Hearing to report to tle citizens and the Selectmen on their progress. Motion carried. Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate `�r or transfer from available funds $1,500 for wages and $4.00 for expenses of the Government Study Committee, or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sums of $850.00 for wages and $300.00 for expenses of the Government Study Committee. Amendment did not carry. Moved and seconded to go back to the original motion; to raise and appropriate the sums of $1 , 500-00 fors'''' wages and $400.00 for expenses of the Government Study Committee. Motion Carried. Article 5 . To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate r : or transfer from available funds the sum of $14, 289 to meet the + town' s share , and to borrow or transfer from available funds, in anticipation of reimbursement, -the sum of $42, 868 as the State' s r share of the cost of work under Chapter 90 , Section 34 (2a) of the General Laws , being funded by Chapter 329 , Acts of 1980 , or take any other action thereon. ACTION: Moved and seconded to -raise and appropriate the sum of ` X14, 289.00 to meet the Town' s share, and to transfer from Revenue Sharing in anticipation of reimbursement, f, the sum of $42,868.00 as the State' s share of the cost of work under Chapter 90, Section 34 (2a) of the General Laws being funded by Chapter 329, Acts of 1980.
