To see if the Town will vote to accept the Reports of °± <br /> Town Officers . a, <br /> Moved and seconded to accept the Reports of Town Officers. <br /> ACTION: <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Article 3. To see if the Town will vote to authorize the continuance ! f, <br /> of the Government Study Committee appointed by the Board of Selectmen <br /> in 1980, said Committee to further report on its activities to the <br /> Selectmen and Citizens by January 1, 1982, or take any other action <br /> thereon. <br /> ACTION: Moved and seconded that Article 3 be accepted- as read. I''} <br /> Motion defeated. Ammendment to main motion reads: <br /> The Town vote to authorize the continuance of the <br /> Government Study Committee appointed by the Board of <br /> Selectmen '-in 1980, said committee to hold a Public <br /> Hearing within 90 days of appointment, to allow Public <br /> input and to further hold a Public Hearing 90 days u <br /> from the date of the first Hearing to report to tle <br /> citizens and the Selectmen on their progress. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Article 4. To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate `�r <br /> or transfer from available funds $1,500 for wages and $4.00 for <br /> expenses of the Government Study Committee, or take any other action <br /> thereon. <br /> ACTION: Moved and seconded to raise and appropriate the sums <br /> of $850.00 for wages and $300.00 for expenses of the <br /> Government Study Committee. Amendment did not carry. <br /> Moved and seconded to go back to the original motion; <br /> to raise and appropriate the sums of $1 , 500-00 fors'''' <br /> wages and $400.00 for expenses of the Government Study <br /> Committee. Motion Carried. <br /> Article 5 . To see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate r : <br /> or transfer from available funds the sum of $14, 289 to meet the + <br /> town' s share , and to borrow or transfer from available funds, in <br /> anticipation of reimbursement, -the sum of $42, 868 as the State' s <br /> r <br /> share of the cost of work under Chapter 90 , Section 34 (2a) of the <br /> General Laws , being funded by Chapter 329 , Acts of 1980 , or take <br /> any other action thereon. <br /> ACTION: Moved and seconded to -raise and appropriate the sum of ` <br /> X14, 289.00 to meet the Town' s share, and to transfer <br /> from Revenue Sharing in anticipation of reimbursement, <br /> f, <br /> the sum of $42,868.00 as the State' s share of the cost <br /> of work under Chapter 90, Section 34 (2a) of the General <br /> Laws being funded by Chapter 329, Acts of 1980.
