their efforts to design, construct and operate a Barnstable County Materials <br /> Recovery Facility to process and market recyclable materials from the fifteen <br /> towns within Barnstable County, with the understanding that the cost of <br /> design, engineering and legal services will be borne by some combination of <br /> county and state funds as available, and that costs of construction and <br /> operation will be paid for by material revenues and user fees from <br /> participating towns and private haulers, or take any action necessary thereto. <br /> (This article is non-binding; however, a "yes" vote should reflect a serious <br /> ' willingness to participate) . <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectment <br /> Explanation: This non-binding article seeks Town Meeting support of the <br /> i Town' s willingness to participate in the possible construction and operation <br /> of a County-wide Materials Recovery Facility. Thompson July 6, 1988 Scale 1"=100 ' Doyle Engineering Associates Inc. 530 <br /> Thomas Landers Road West Falmouth, MA 02574" which is on file in the office of <br /> the Town Clerk, and further, that the Town vote to authorize and empower the <br /> Board of Selectmen to acquire the fee ownership on, over and under the road as <br /> defined on said plan by purchase, gift or eminent domain, and further, that <br /> the Town vote to authorize and empower the Board of Selectment to discontinue <br /> that part of Pimilico Pond Road which is shown on the aforementioned plan and <br /> marked "to be abandoned" . <br /> Submitted by Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article allows the Board of Selectmen to acquire the land <br /> necessary to redefine Pimilico Pond Road at the point which dramatically <br /> curves. Funding to reconstruct the road will come from public and private <br /> sources . <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee will make a recommendation at Town <br /> Meeting. <br /> Motion: Motion the Town will vote to relocate Pimlico Pond Road, including <br />• all necessary drainage and slope easements , as shown on a plan entitled "Three <br /> Ponds ' Subdivision Plan of Land in Mashpee, Mass. for George H.
