Town of Mashpee <br /> Annual Town Meeting <br /> 296 Voters present <br /> 0 quorum <br /> Barnstable, ss: Greetings <br /> To the Constables of the Town, <br /> In the name of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, you are hereby directed to notify and <br /> summon the inhabitants of the Town of Mashpee who are qualified to vote in the elections to <br /> meet at the Mashpee Middle School on Monday, the 1 st day of May, 1995 at 7:30 p.m. for the <br /> following purposes: <br /> To act on the articles contained in the following Warrant. <br /> Town Meeting opened at 7:42 p.m. <br /> Article 1. <br /> To choose for a one-year term a burial agent, or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This is the only position elected at the Annual Town Meeting. All other elected <br /> positions are included on the ballot of the Annual Election. The incumbent is Leigh Potter. <br /> Motion made by Selectman Vaccaro. <br /> I nominate Leigh Potter for the one-year term as burial agent. <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 8:11 p.m. • <br /> Article Z <br /> To see if the Town will fix the salaries of the following elected officers as provided in Chapter <br /> 41, Section 108, of the General Laws for the period of July 1, 1995 to June 30, 1996, and further <br /> to see if the Town will vote to raise and appropriate and transfer and appropriate a sum of money <br /> to defray the Town's expenses for the ensuing fiscal year according to the following line item <br /> budget with the maximum amount to be appropriated as shown in the column entitled "Dept <br /> FY96 Requests" (See Omnibus Article), or take any other action relating thereto. <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Motion made by Selectman Dinizio. <br />
