To keep a balance <br /> between the clerical and the inspection requirements of the department, it has been necessary to <br /> retain an inspector in the office to perform clerical duties. This position is needed to release the <br /> inspectors to perform field and other required duties. <br /> Recommendation: Finance Committee to strike full-time senior clerk, inserting the following <br /> words, temporary full-time senior clerk position for the Building Department to expire one year <br />
