This article will allow the account to be extended for a period of three years. The <br /> balance in the account is $54,350. This article is being extended to consider alternative locations <br /> for the facility. <br /> E <br /> Recommendation: The Finance Committee recommends approval. <br /> Motion made by George Green. <br /> Motion: I move Article 10 be voted as printed in the warrant with the exception of the phrase, <br /> "or take any other action relating thereto". <br /> Motion passes unanimously at 7:49 p.m. <br /> Article 11 <br /> 1 1 <br /> To see-if the Town will vote to authorize the Board of Selectmen to accept grant funds from the <br /> Massachusetts Technology Park Corporation in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws, <br /> Chapter 40J, Section 4E, and to apply or transfer such grant funds to offset fees incurred under <br /> the Town's agreements with the SEMASS Partnership, or take any other action relating thereto. } <br /> Submitted by the Board of Selectmen <br /> Explanation: This article is necessary to accept grant funding from the state's technology fund <br /> created for the purpose of reimbursing communities for the cost of making air quality technology <br /> improvements to trash to energy facilities. Mashpee's share of this grant funding is estimated at <br /> approximately $400,000.
