Mr. Makunas told Mr. Kirrane that the original application was <br /> withdrawn and the request was for X-XX-XXX rated films, it was felt <br /> that this would be their prime business. Mr. Forte told the Board <br /> that another attorney wrote that particular application up and that <br /> was not what he wanted. Mr. Makunas asked if he had signed that <br /> application. Mr. Forte said he had signed that application. Mr. <br /> Kirrane told the Board that he did not fill out the original application, <br /> but he felt that they were making the Board fully aware of what they <br /> were going to rent. <br /> At this time the application was taken under advisement. On <br /> May 8, 1985, another application for Special Permit was received by <br /> the Board from Sanford Mass and Donald Forte for the sale and/or <br /> rental of televisions, radios, videos and/or audio tapes and other <br /> storage media equipment for the use of those items referred to; ,herein. <br /> The proposed sale/rental tapes/films shall not include films with an <br /> ..X., rating. <br /> On June 12, 1985, Mr. Makunas and Mr. Hanrahan voted to deny the <br /> Special Permit because it was their feeling that this was not in the <br /> best interest of the Town. Mr. Costa was not sitting at this time, <br /> but would be given the opportunity to vote at the next meeting.
