Ricci Design, Inc. for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-07-073
A Petition was filed by B.L. Ricci Design, Inc. of Mashpee, Massachusetts
for a Special Permit for permission to construct a In-Law apartment in a R-3M
Zoning District on property located on 8 Russell Road, Monomoscoy Island,
Mashpee, Massachusetts.
Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General
Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise,
a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on July 15 & 22, 1987,
a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof.
A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on
Wednesday, July 29, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members of
the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan,
Manuel Costa and Michael Makunas.
The Board learned no exterior structural changes will take place to the
dwelling. No written opposition was received from abutters.
Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously
on July 29, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested with the stipulation
that this Special Permit shall expire upon the conveyance to the subsequent
buyer of this referenced property. The Board found this request for a Speical
Permit to be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the ordinance or
By-Law.
