MA 02649 <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> RE: Petition of DOT inc. d/b/a Landing Cleaners for a Special Permit <br /> (Owner of record: Paul J. Hartel & Wm. W. Peters, TR) <br /> Case: S P-88-06-048 <br /> A Petition was filed by DOT Inc. of Marstons Mills, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Sections 7. 1 and 11B of the Land Use Require- <br /> ments for permission for a drop for dry cleaning location in a C-2 <br /> zoning district on property located at Deer Crossing (Route 28) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts (Map 81, Lot 23) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 4OA. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on August 3 and August 10, 1988, a copy of which is attached hereto and <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, August 17, 1988 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Richard Halpern. <br /> The Board was informed that the store will be used as a drop for <br /> dry cleaning and tailoring but that no work will be done at this location. <br /> The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the zoning by-law and complies with the specific <br /> provisions set forth within the zoning by-law. <br />
