MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A VARIANCE <br /> Re: Petition of Stuart Schechter for a Variance V-88-07-061 <br /> A petition was filed by Stuart Schechter of Waltham, Massachusetts <br /> for a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land Space Requirements for <br /> permission to vary the setbacks in an R-3 zoning district on property <br /> located at 134 Whippoorwill Circle (Map 125, Lot 134) Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the <br /> Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town <br /> of Mashpee, on August 3 and August 10, 1988, a copy of which is attached <br /> hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town <br /> Hall on Wednesday, August 17, 1988 at 7:30 p.m, at which time the <br /> following members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting <br /> throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and Edward Govoni. <br /> The Board was informed that the Applicant proposes to build a <br /> single-family house on a corner lot at Whippoorwill Circle and Wills <br /> Work Road requiring front-line set backs on both roads. He explained <br /> that a variance was required on one side since there was no other <br /> location for the house. <br />
