The Board of Appeals found that the hardship was not self-imposed and that granting of the Variance would not be detrimental to the neighborhood or the Town and would be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the by-laws. Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on August 9, 1989 to grant a lot size variance of 19,969 square feet reducing the lot size from 40,000 square feet to 20,031 square feet and a frontage variance of 50 feet reducing the frontage requirement from 150 feet to 100 feet.
