Govoni
Alan Randall of the SSC Group was in attendance representing this petition.
He explained that the owner of the property proposed to connect an existing
walkway to an existing float with an aluminium ramp for seasonal use only.
• Mr. Makunas questioned what off-season storage arrangements would be for
the ramp and the float. Mr. Randall responded that they would be stored
commercially at Little River Boatyard. He said the, float is usually removed
on Labor Day but was left in water this year to permit Conservation Commission
to study the site.
Mr. Makunas stated that the ramp was a seasonal dock attached to an
existing float and if permit was granted it would be conditional on a float
permit.
Mr. Makunas moved that the Board grant the dock permit as requested
with the condition that the owner have a valid mooring permit each year
and that the dock permit would expire upon the denial of a float permit.
In addition, he moved that the off-season storage of the dock and float
should be off-site.
