BOARD OF APPEALS <br />MINUTES <br />January 25, 1989 <br />At 7:30 P.M. on Wednesday, January 25, 1989 The Board <br />of Appeals held a meeting at the Mashpee Town Hall. Board members <br />present and acting throughout were: William Hanrahan, Cheryl <br />Hawver, Edward Govoni and Richard Halpern, <br />Peter J. Hartel (Owner of Record: Paul J. Hartel and <br />William W. Peters TR) Requests a Special Permit under Section <br />6.3.I.9 of the Land Use Requirements for permission to construct <br />a pier, stairway,, gangway and float in an R-3 zoning district <br />on property located at 34 Quaker Run Road (Map 83, Lot 21) <br />Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: Richard Halpern, William Hanrahan and Cheryl <br />Hawver. <br />The pier will be 60 feet in length and extend approxiffoticfy <br />55 feet to the upper edge of the marsh. <br />No abutters were present. Shellfish Commission had no comments. <br />• Conservation Commission had no comments. <br />Richard Halpern moved to grant the Special Permit for the <br />pier, gangway and Float. Cheryl Hawver seconded and all agreed. <br />Anthony Mulone and James Giatrlls - (Owner of Record: Paul <br />Dugan TR) Requests a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land <br />Space Requirements for permission to vary the setback and frontage <br />requirements in a C-2 zoning district on property located on Route <br />130 and Echo Lane (Map 20, Lot 47 Mashpee, MA.) <br />Members sitting: William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver, <br />Edward Govini. <br />A written request was presented dated January 16, 1989 to <br />withdraw without prejudice because of the lackof town water <br />and building costs they were unable to secure finances to <br />complete the project. <br />Richard Halpern moved that they allow them to withdraw <br />without prejudice. Cheryl seconded. All agreed. <br />W <br />
