i Article 22: i To see if the Town will vote to amend Chapter 47, Section 10, of the Town By- ! I Laws, "Alarm Violations and Penalties," to read as follows: *Paragraph 'B' first sentence, add the word 'Burglar" after the word, "False." *Change Paragraph 'C' to be labeled as Paragraph 'D.' *Insert as Paragraph 'C: "The users of fire alarms shall be assessed, as a service fee, $50.00 for the third false alarm in a calendar year, $100 for the fourth false alarm, and $200 for the fifth and subsequent false alarms. All fees assessed shall be paid to the Town Treasurer for deposit into the General Fund. Article 23: .- To see if the Town.will vote to amend Chapter 47, Section 3, of the Town By- Laws, Fire Alarm Systems, as follows! *Change Part 'D' (2), Sentences 2 & 4: Deleting the word "lease" and replacing the words, "the Mashpee Fire Department alarm box" with the words, "Underwriters Laboratories approved central monitoring station." *Add a new Section 'E' to read as follows.- "Prior ollows:"Prior to issuing a building permit for any structure addressed in this Section, plans for the fire alarm system shall be approved by the Fire Chief or his designee prior to installation of the fire alarm system. A permit shall be applied for by the installer and issued by the Fire Chief or his designee. Upon completion of installation of the alarm system, and prior to the issuance of a use and occupancy permit, the system shall be tested per National Fire Protection Association Standard #72, in the presence of a Fire Department inspector. The fee for this permit shall be set by the Board of Selectmen."
