BURIED CABLE AGREEMENT CITY/TOWN` COPY <br />WHEREAS by an order of the Board of ,Selectmen of the GttyfTown <br />of Mashpee Massachusetts, dated July 15, 19 65, permission has <br />been granted to the NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY to place and <br />r maintain buried cable, manholes, handholes, with the wires and cables therein, markers and other fixtures <br />in or under the surface of: <br />Nathan Ellis Highway <br />7 <br />as referred to in said order, to which order reference may be had, <br />NOW THEREFORE, KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS that said NEW ENG- <br />`' LAND TELEPHONE AND TELEGRAPH COMPANY in consideration of the premises and in compli- <br />ance with the terms and requirements of said order, doth hereby for itself and its successors and assigns, <br />covenant and agree to and with the said GityfTown of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br />Ci as follows L <br />1. That said Company shall indemnify and save harmless the said Gityf Town against all damages, <br />costs and expense whatsoever to which the CRT/Town may be subjected in consequence of the acts or neglect <br />of said Company, its agents or servants, or in any manner arising from the rights and privileges granted it <br />by the43ity/Town. <br />2.
