BX-LAWS TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> fuel oil shall give bond in an amount satisfac- <br /> tory to the Selectmen for the faithful performance <br /> of his contract . (Amended at Annual Town Meeting <br /> May 3, 1982 , and approved by Attorney General <br /> September 7, 1982) <br />, Section 2 . 1 . 5 Time Limit for Annual Report . It shall be the duty <br /> of the Selectmen to have printed Annual Reports of <br /> the Town ready for distribution not later than <br /> seven days before the Annual Town Meeting. <br />, Section 2. 1 . 6 Appointments. The Selectmen shall fill the follow- <br /> ing positions as indicated hereafter with preference <br /> being given to residents of the Town : <br /> a. The Selectmen shall appoint a Tree Warden for <br /> a term of one year. <br /> b. The Selectmen may appoint a hark and Recreation <br /> Advisory Committee. <br /> C. The Selectmen may appoint a Recreation Director. <br /> d. The Selectmen may appoint a Town Museum Director. <br /> e . The Selectmen shall appoint the Harbormaster <br /> for a term of one year and may appoint Assistant <br /> Harbormartora <br /> i <br /> f. The Selectmen shall appoint a Town Constable <br /> for a term of one year. <br /> g. The Board of Selectmen shall appoint an Inspector <br /> of Gas Piping and Gas Appliances, pursuant to <br /> Chapter 143, Section 3-0, of the General Laws. <br /> h. The Selectmen may appoint an Executive Secretary <br /> pursuant to the provisions of Massachusetts <br /> General Laws, Chapter 41 , Section 23A, for a <br /> term of one or three years and may remove him <br /> at their discretion. <br /> i. The Selectmen shall appoint a Board o'f Registrars <br /> consisting of four members, one of which shall be <br /> the Town Clerk, under the provisions of Chapt. 51, <br /> Section 15, of the General Laws. <br /> j . The Selectmen shall appoint a Shellfish Constable, <br /> and may appoint Deputy Shellfish Constables, pur, <br /> suant to the provisions of General Laws, Chapt . 130, <br /> Section 98, for a term of three years. <br /> k. The Selectmen shall appoint an Inspector of <br /> Buildings, pursuant to the provisions of <br /> Chapter 143, Section 3, of the General Laws. <br /> 1 . The Selectmen shall appoint an Inspector of <br /> Wires pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 166, <br /> Section 32 , of the Massachusetts General Laws. <br /> -5- <br />
