i <br /> I 0 . 5 . 3 On the premises with a lawfully non-confow ing <br />� I non-residential use , one sign not more than four <br /> (4) square feet signboard area is permitted. <br /> 10 . 5. 4 One " For Sale " or "For Rent " sign , not more than <br /> three (3) square feet signboard area and <br /> advertising only the premises on which the sign is <br /> located is permitted. <br /> 10 . 5.5 - One real estate sign , not more than three 13) <br /> square feet signboard area is permitted. Such <br /> sign shall be removed forthwith upon signing of a <br /> legally bindirig purchase and sales agreement or <br /> lease agreement . <br /> 10 .5.6 One building contractor's sign on a building .while <br /> actually under construction , not exceeding four <br /> (4) square feet signboard area is permitted . Such <br /> sign shall be removed forthwith upon completion or <br /> occupancy of the structure . <br /> 10 .5.7 In Residential Districts all sign or .advertising <br /> devices shall be stationary .and shall not contain <br /> any visible moving or movable parts . No sign or <br /> advertising device in such Districts shall be of <br /> neon , neon type or illuminated tube-type . <br /> Lighting or any sign or advertising depice shall <br /> be continuous (not intermittent nor flashing nor <br /> changing) and shall be _o placed or hooded as to <br /> prevent direct 1 i ght from shining onto any street <br /> or adjacent property . No sign or advertising <br /> device shall be illuminated y.f ter eleven ( 1 1 ) <br /> p .m. , except as permitted b;. the Board of <br /> Selectmen , upon application to them for a. permit , <br /> citing reasons for the exceptions . <br /> 10 . 5.3 Subdivisions: One subdivision name sign , not to <br /> exceed twenty ( 20) square feet , may be permitted <br /> for each entry to a subdivision from a public wax. <br /> 10 .5 . 9 Political Signs: Not more than two political <br /> signs, not to exceed 2' x 3' , may be erected in a <br /> residential district with the owner' s permission <br /> for a period of thirty (30 ) days immediately <br /> preceding any election . Such signs shall be <br /> removed within 24 hours after the election, day .
