MINORITY DECISION <br /> The decision was unanimous to deny this Petition for a Variance, <br /> however, my decision to deny is for reasons other than stated in Paragraph <br /> #6. <br /> This Board is required to make decisions within a timeframe of <br /> seventy-five (79) days from the initial filing of the application with the <br /> Town Clerk of Mashpee. This Variance would be automatically approved by <br /> mere passage of time if the decision was not filed within this time period. <br /> The size of a project such as this, required that the Board seek inputs from <br /> many other sources (examples Town Counsel, Planning Board, Conservation <br /> Commission, Building Inspector, Police Department, Fire Department, etc. ). <br /> Many meetings and followup inquiries are necessary to acquire meaningful data <br /> from these sources. <br /> The lack of time required to seek additional data, and not the merits <br /> of the Petitioner'a presentation, are the reasons for Ry descending vote. <br /> Michael Makunas <br /> -3- <br />
