TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> P.9g fA- DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Kings Cab Inc. for a Special Permit Case #SP-86-12-144 <br /> A Petition was filed by Kings Cab Inc. of Mashpee, Massachusetts for a Special <br /> Permit for permission to operate a Taxi business in a C-2 Zoning District on property <br /> located on Route 28, Merry Meadow Plaza, Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts General Laws <br /> Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper <br /> of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on November 26 & December 3, 1986, a <br /> copy of which is attached hereto and amde a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Tam Hall on Wednesday, <br /> December 10, 1986 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, Michael Makunas and <br /> Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Written approval to operate a Taxi service in the Tam of Mashpee was received <br /> from the Mashpee Selectmen. The Building Inspector of Mashpee forwarded a written <br /> opinion to the Board giving his approval to operate a pickup service by Special Permit <br /> in the Tam of Mashpee. The Board was informed two vehicles will be utilized in busi- <br /> ness operations. Thru infonmation received the Board learned the business will operate <br /> on a twenty-four hour basis. The Board was informed there will be no signage at the <br /> place of business. <br />
