TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> P,gB CA DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of James Lebel for a Special Permit Case <br /> #SP-87-01-005 <br /> A Petition was filed by James Lebel of Mashpee, Mass- <br /> achusetts for a Special Permit for permission to construct <br /> and maintain a wood Pier and mooring piles with a Float in <br /> a R-3M Zoning District on property .located on Lot 67 Great <br /> River Road South, Mashpee, Massachusetts . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given <br /> by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a newspaper of <br /> general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on December 31, <br /> 1986 and January 7, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee <br /> Town Hall on Wednesday, January 14, 1987 at 7 :30 p.m. at <br /> which time the following members of the Board of Appeals were <br /> present and acting throughout : William Hanrahan, Michael <br /> Makunas and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> Information was received that the pier will extend <br /> thirty-six feet from mean low water. Comments were re- <br /> ceived from the Mashpee Planning Board and the Mashpee <br /> Conservation Commission stating no objections. The Board <br /> found this request for a Special Permit to be in harmony <br /> with the general purpose and intent of the ordinance or <br /> By-Law. <br />
