Langley for a Special Permit Case #SP-87-07-070 <br /> A Petition was filed by Robert E. Langley of West Hyannisport, Mass- <br /> achusetts for a Special Permit for permission to operate a business for the <br /> sales and servicing of commercial computer software in a C-1 Zoning District <br /> on property located at Madaket Place, Building A, Unit 7, Route 28, Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on July <br /> 15 & 22, 1987, a copy of which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall on <br /> Wednesday, July 29, 1987 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following members <br /> of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: William Hanrahan, <br /> Manuel Costa and Michael Makunas. <br /> Through information received the Board was informed the facility will <br /> be utilized primarily as a research and development facility and a marketing <br /> facility. The Board learned no retail sales will be conducted on the premises <br /> and will employ a maximum of 17 people. Signage will be in compliance with <br /> the area. <br /> Upon motion duly and seconded the Board of Appeals voted unanimously on <br /> July 29, 1987 to grant the Special Permit as requested and found this Special <br /> Permit to be in harmony with the general purpose and intent of the ordinance <br /> or By-Law. <br />
