TOWN OF MASHPEE <br /> BOARD OF APPEALS <br /> TOWN HALL, MASHPEE, MASSACHUSETTS 02649 <br /> • r = <br /> DECISION <br /> RE: Petition of Sunset of Mashpee Trust, Lot 6, Case <br /> #V-86-11-095 <br /> A Petition was filed by Sunset of Mashpee Trust for <br /> a Variance for permission to vary the lot size in a R-3M <br /> Zoning District on property located on Lot 6 Sunset Strip, <br /> East Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with <br /> the Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was <br /> given by publication in the Falmouth Enterprise, a news- <br /> paper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee on <br /> November 10 & 17, 1986 a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the <br /> Mashpee Town Hall on Tuesday, November 25, 1986 at 7 :30 <br /> p.m. at which time the following members of the Board of <br /> Appeals were present and acting throughout: William <br /> Hanrahan, Manuel Costa and Cheryl Hawver. <br /> The Board found this lot to be of a non-conforming <br /> lot size however, through information provided found this <br /> hardship not to be self-imposed or detrimental to the <br /> neighborhood. <br /> The Board of Appeals reached the following Finding of <br /> Facts : <br /> 1. ) The Board found the hardship not to be self-imposed. <br /> 2. ) Granting of the Variance was found not to be <br /> detrimental to the neighborhood. <br /> Upon motion duly made and seconded the Board of Appeals <br /> voted unanimously on December 10, 1986 to grant the lot size <br /> Variance of 21,500 square feet and the frontage Variance of <br /> 50 feet. <br />
