Box 1108 <br /> Mashpee, MA 02649 <br /> DECISION <br /> FOR A SPECIAL PERMIT <br /> Re: Decision of the Board of Appeals on Petition to Modify <br /> • Special Permit (requested by Bonwood Co. , formerly Pine Hill <br /> Estates Case No. SP-88-01-04, owner on record: Reliance <br /> Development Corp. ) <br /> This matter was brought before the Board of Appeals of the <br /> Town of Mashpee by Bonwood Company, Inc. , owner of 264 . 41 acres <br /> of land located north of Route 151 and west of Old Barnstable <br /> Road, and partly bounded on the west by Algonquin Road and on the <br /> north by Payamps Road. Said land is shown as Lots 35 and 35A on <br /> Mashpee Assessor ' s Map 65 . The Petitioner seeks to modify <br /> Paragraph 11 of "Decision of the Board of Appeals on Petition to <br /> Modify Special Permit, " dated January 29 , 1985 . The first <br /> sentence of said Paragraph 11 states : <br /> "A buffer zone, having a minimum width of one hundred <br /> ( 100 ' ) feet, shall be maintained along the entire <br /> perimeter of the site except for any entrance and exit <br /> areas . " <br /> As for Phase I , said buffer zone was previously amended to <br /> conform to plan entitled, "Final Site Development Plan and Land <br /> Use Plan, Phase I for Planned Retirement Community, " which said <br /> plan was approved on September 11, 1986, after public hearing <br /> held on June 10, 1986 . <br />
