Boyd : <br /> Please be advised that this office represents Mr . <br /> and Mrs . Francis Quinn , owners of property referred to <br /> as Lot 191 Waterway . It appears that the Board of Appeals <br /> granted a Special Permit in December of 1988 to permit <br /> an expansion of a nonconforming structure on Lot 192 , <br /> property owned by a Mr . and Mrs. Shindler . <br /> While it appears that the Board of Appeals has author- <br /> ization to permit an expansion of a pre-existing noncon- <br /> forming structure, my clients suggest that the expansion <br /> being undertaken would have required a variance and not <br /> a special permit in that the Shindlers are exceeding the <br /> 1� lot coverage maximum permitted under the Zoning ByLaw . ` <br /> In that the lot coverage requirement has been <br /> exceeded , it would appear that a zoning violation exists <br /> and as such , my clients request that you enforce the <br /> provisions of the appropriate ByLaw .
