Trust for a Special Permit <br /> Case: SP-89-01-08 <br /> A Petition was filed by Peter J. Hartel and P. & H. Trust of Mashpee, <br /> Massachusetts for a Special Permit for permission to construct a pier, <br /> stairway, gangway and float in an R-3 zoning district on property located <br /> at 34 Quaker Run Road. (Map 83, Lot 21) Mashpee, Massachusetts. <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in the Falmouth <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the Town of Mashpee, <br /> on January 11 and January 18, 1989, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, January 25, 1989 at 7:30 p.m. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> William Hanrahan, Cheryl Hawver and Richard Halpern. <br /> The Board was informed that the applicants propose to build a sixty <br /> foot pier on Shoestring Bay. No abutters were present and no comments <br /> were received from the Conservation Commission or Shellfish Constable. <br /> The Board determined that the use was in harmony with the general <br /> purpose and intent of the zoning by-law and complies with the provisions <br /> set forth in the by-law. <br />
