BOARD OF APPEALS Minutes - August 17, 1988 Page 3. <br />• MULTI -VEST PROPERTIES, INC. - Request a Variance under Section 7.4 <br />of the Land Space Requirements for permission to vary the frontline setback <br />in an R-3 zoning district on property located at Lot 5 Victoria Circle <br />(Map 29, Lot 29) Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: W. Hanrahan, M. Makunas, R. Halpern <br />Attorney Brian Garner represented the petition. He informed the <br />Board that the lot in question is part of a cluster subdivision <br />approved by the Planning Board. Due to the shape of the lot, one <br />foundation was erroneously set within the 30' frontyard setback <br />required. He stated that it would cost $8,000 to $10,000 to move <br />the foundation back two feet. No abutters were present. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant the Variance of two feet in the front <br />line setback. Mr. Halpern seconded. All agreed. <br />STUART SCHECHTER - Requests a Variance under Section 7.4 of the Land <br />Space Requirements for permission to vary the setbacks in an R-3 zoning <br />district on property located at 134 Whippoorwill Circle (Map 125, Lot134) <br />Mashpee, MA. <br />Members sitting: W. Hanrahan, M. Makunas, E. Govoni <br />John Slavinsky from Cape 6 Islands Surveying represented the petition. <br />He explained that the lot was at the corner of Whippoorwill Circle and <br />Will Work Road and that the Building Dept. was requiring 40' setbacks <br />from both roads. He was of opinion that the lot had been grandfathered <br />under the 25' setback rules. <br />Mr. Makunas moved to grant a variance of 12' from Wills Work Road <br />due to the configuration of the lot. Mr. Govoni seconded. All agreed. <br />RONALD P: BEVACQUA (Owner of Record: Windsor Development Corp.) <br />Requests a Special Permit under Section 6.3.A.8 of the Land Use Requirements <br />for permission to construct an in-law apartment on property located in an <br />R-5 zoning district at 15 Saddleback Road (Map 44, Lot 95) Mashpee,MA. <br />Members sitting: W. Hanrahan, R. Halpern, E. Govoni <br />Mr. Bevacqua explained that he hopes to build an addition to the rear <br />of his garage to provide separate living quarters for his mother. He <br />said appearance of the house would not change from the street and only <br />one mailbox would be used. No abutters were present. <br />Mr. Hanrahan moved to grant the Special Permit. Mr. Govoni seconded. <br />All agreed. <br />• <br />
