MINUTES June 8, 1988 8 BOARD OF APPEALS <br />of view in having this permit expire would be the Town's excelleration <br />in growth. <br />• Mr. Halpern questioned Mr. Burden as to why this request for an exten- <br />sion of the Special Permit has by-passed this Board and is scheduled for <br />a Town meeting vote. <br />Mr. Burdan ^e�-Onded that there is no expiration date on the Special <br />Permit and stated all that is expiring are the restrictions in the deed, the <br />Mass. General Laws provides specifically for those restrictions being ex- <br />tended. <br />Mr. Halpern stated if the restriction in the deed was granted by the <br />Board of Appeals in 1964, then you must apply to the 8oara OT Appeais Tor <br />a modification to the original Special Permit. <br />Mr. Hanrahan requested a letter be forwarded to Town Counsel re- <br />garding a determination on whether this extension of the Special Permit <br />requires a public hearing with the Board of Appeals. <br />At this time the Board of Appeals re -organized for the fiscal year <br />1989. <br />Mr. Makunas motioned to nominate Mr: Hanrahan as Chairman to the Board <br />• of Appeals, Mr. Govoni seconded, all agreed. <br />Mr. Makunas motioned to nominate Mr. Costa as Vice -Chairman to the <br />Board of Appeals, Mr. Govoni seconded, all agreed. <br />Mr. Hanrahan motioned to nominate Mr. Makunas as Clerk to the Board <br />of Appeals, Mr. Govoni seconded, all agreed. <br />REVIEWED MAIL AND NEW APPLICATIONS <br />SIGNED DECISIONS <br />ACCEPTED MINUTES <br />Being no further business this meeting adjourned <br />Respectfully submitted <br />Veronica Warden <br />0 <br />
