SP-90-62 <br /> A Petition was filed by Signature Inc. of Mashpee, Massachusetts <br /> for a Special Permit under Section 174-25.E. 1 of the Zoning By-laws <br /> and the conditions of Special Permit 86-04-024 for permission to <br /> operate a.retail store in a C-1 zoning district on property located <br /> at Mashpee Commons, 38 Nathan Ellis Highway (Map 74, Block 20) <br /> Mashpee, Massachusetts. (Owner of record: Fields Point Ltd. <br /> Partnership) . <br /> Notice was duly given to abutters in accordance with Massachusetts <br /> General Laws Chapter 40A. Notice was given by publication in The <br /> Enterprise, a newspaper of general circulation in the .Town of Mashpee <br /> on August 6 and August 13, 1990, a copy of which is attached hereto <br /> and made a part hereof. <br /> A public hearing was held on the Petition at the Mashpee Town Hall <br /> on Wednesday, August 22, 1990 at 7:30 P.M. at which time the following <br /> members of the Board of Appeals were present and acting throughout: <br /> Cheryl A. Hawver, Michael A. Makunas and Edward M. Govoni. <br /> Douglas S. Storrs of Fields Point Ltd. Partnership represented <br /> the applicant. He informed the Board that Signature Inc. was occupying <br /> 1,400 square feet of space 10. 1 for use as an art gallery and gift <br /> shop. <br /> The Board determined that the use is in harmony with the purpose <br /> and intent of the By-laws and the 1986 Special Permit and complies with <br /> the provisions thereof. <br />
