BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, APRIL 30 , 1990 <br /> PAGE THREE <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> ##2 (Cont. ) <br /> Annual Town Meeting <br /> Mrs. Jacobson moved to ask Town Meeting to hold discussion <br /> on the Omnibus budget and the PAP until after the 5/ 12/90 <br /> debt exclusion question. Mr. Gottlieb seconded the motion <br /> and Mr. Hanson was in favor. Mr. Lawrence and Mr. Carter <br /> were opposed. <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved that the Board oppose Article 3 . Mr. <br /> Carter seconded the motion. . Mr. Hanson abstained. -Mr. <br /> Gottlieb and Mrs. Jacobson were opposed. <br /> Mr. Carter moved that the Board support the recommendation <br /> of the Finance Committee relative to Article 4. Mr. <br /> Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> Mr. Carter moved that the Board support consolidation of <br /> Building & Maintenance fund and to make adjustments to <br /> Board of Selectmen now and then to support the rest of the <br /> budget. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion. Mr. Gottlieb <br /> and Mr. Hanson were in favor. Mr. Lawrence was opposed. <br /> Mr. Lawrence reserved the right to object to the Board's <br /> position at a later time on the following; Town Hall , Data <br /> Processing, Planning Department, Harbormaster, <br /> Harbormaster/Shellfish/Herring, Shellfish, Herring Warden, <br /> Leisure Services, Schools. <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved that the Moderator, at his discretion, <br /> read the recommendations of the Finance Committee (omnibus <br /> budget) and that the Board of Selectmen oppose them by its <br /> vote at the Town Meeting. Mr. Hanson seconded the motion. <br /> Mrs . Jacobson and Mr. Carter were in favor. Mr. Gottlieb <br /> was opposed. <br /> Selectmen Gottlieb, Hanson, Carter and Jacobson agreed that <br /> Articles 9 - 12 should be deferred until after the debt <br /> exclusion questions. Mr. Lawrence was opposed. <br /> Mr. Carter moved that the Board appose Article 13. Mr. <br /> Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br />
