1 <br /> BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, JANUARY B, 1990 <br /> PRESENT: Selectmen Jacobson, Hanson, Carter, Lawrence, Interim <br /> Executive Secretary Jeffrey Nutting, Administrative <br /> Assistant Joyce Mason <br /> GUESTS: Craig Falconieri , Dr. DeMoura, Anne Shaw, Brad Fish, George <br /> Costa, Chief Ridgeway, Robert Connell , Judy Mills <br /> The meeting convened at 3 : 00 p.m. <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 1 . Seafarer of Cape Cod, Ltd. - Application for All Alcoholic <br /> Beverages License - Mr. Craig Falconieri attended relative. <br /> to the above mentioned application. Mr. Falconieri stated <br /> that the Seafarer was planning to put in a small service <br /> bar without seating. The bar would serve only those <br /> customers who were ordering meals at the Restaurant. There <br /> was no public comment . <br /> Mr . Lawrence moved to grant an all alcoholic beverage <br /> license to the Seafarer of Cape Cod, Ltd. , pending receipt <br /> of a detailed floor plan of the new bar area. Mr . Hanson <br /> seconded the motion and Mrs. Jacobson was in favor. Mr. <br /> Carter was not present for the vote. <br /> OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . Discussion of January 29, 1990 STM Warrant - The Board <br /> agreed to include Articles i - 6. <br /> Dr. DeMoura provided an explanation to the Board relative <br /> to Article 5 - Unforseen expenditures due to elevated lead <br /> readings in the water at the Coombs School . He stated that <br /> the food service loss was as a result of the decrease in <br /> the school lunch program participation due to the elevated <br /> lead readings . Other unexpected costs were bathroom <br /> monitors, bottled water, additional driver costs and <br /> handiwipes. <br />
