BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> • MONDAY, JANUARY 8, 1990 <br /> PAGE FOUR <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 4. Corridor of Critical Concern - The Board received a <br /> communication from the Massachusetts DPW requesting that a <br /> member of the Board of Selectmen and a member of the <br /> Planning Board be appointed to the Route 28 Advisory Board. <br /> Judy Mills indicated that Pat Coffey had been appointed <br /> from the Planning Board and that she had been appointed as <br /> alternate. <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved to appoint Will Hanson to the Route 28 <br /> Advisory Board. Mrs. Jacobson seconded the motion and Mr. <br /> Carter was in favor . Mr. Hanson abstained. <br /> 5. Donation of Land - The Board received a letter from Paul <br /> Doherty relative to a donation of land from the Great River <br /> Corporation. The Board agreed to refer the letter to Tom <br /> Fudala and Anne Shaw for further details. Mr. Hanson was <br /> not present for the discussion. <br /> 6. Step Increase/Selectmen Staff - Mrs. Jacobson moved to <br /> approve step increases for the following employees Raymond <br /> Martini , effective January 1 , 1990, Joyce Mason, effective <br /> December 27, 1989, Deborah Costa, effective November 17 , <br /> 1989, Beatrice Horton, effective November 18, 1989. Mr. <br /> Lawrence seconded the motion. All were in favor. <br /> 7. Notice of Intent to Sell Land Assessed for Recreational Use <br /> The Board received the above mentioned notice from Attorney <br /> Largay relative to land owned by Mashpee Wampanoag Rod 8 <br /> Gun Club, Inc. <br /> Mr. Lawrence moved to inform Attorney Largay that the Board <br /> of Selectmen has no interest in purchasing the property <br /> known as Block 18, Lot 0, Map 28. Mrs. Jacobson seconded <br /> the motion and Mr. Carter was in favor. Mr. Hanson was not <br /> present for the vote. <br /> it <br />
