BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> • MINUTES - REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 1990 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> 3 . ATTORNEY KIRRANE - TOWN LAND - Attorney Kevin Kirrane <br /> attended relative to proposed renovations and <br /> reconstruction of a portion of Asher' s Path for the <br /> purposes of providing alternate access to a proposed <br /> development currently under consideration by the Planning <br /> Board. <br /> A recent Town Meeting vote requires an approval by the <br /> Board of Selectmen. The Board agreed that before voting on <br /> the issue, they would like to know that the Planning Board <br /> and Board of Health support this project. <br /> The Board informed Mr. Kirrane they would advise him on the <br /> matter within two weeks. <br /> • OLD BUSINESS <br /> 1 . NEW FIRE ENGINE - Mr. Carter moved that the Town accept the <br /> responsibility for payment of the additional $3,600 of <br /> enhancements to the vehicle purchased from Middlesex Fire <br /> Equipment Company, contingent upon the Fire Department <br /> paying these costs out of their budget. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion and Mr. Gottlieb was in favor. <br /> NEW BUSINESS <br /> 1 . PROBRATION PERIOD - KEVIN HICKS - Mr. Carter moved to waive <br /> the six month probationary period for Kevin Hicks as <br /> recommended by Mr. Virgilio. Mr. Hanson seconded the <br /> motion and Mr. Gottlieb was in favor. <br /> The Board directed Mr. Harrington to re-write the policy <br /> relative to the waiving of probationary periods. <br />
