BOARD OF SELECTMEN <br /> • MINUTES -REGULAR SESSION <br /> MONDAY, FEBRUARY 26, 1990 <br /> PAGE TWO <br /> APPOINTMENTS & HEARINGS <br /> ##2 (Cont. ) <br /> Mr. Carter moved that the area of Waquoit Bay formerly <br /> leased by Sullivan (Shellfish Grant ##004) be classified as <br /> open to Public Shellfishing as of April 15, 1990 as <br /> recommended by the Shellfish Commission. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. There was no <br /> public comment . <br /> Mr. Carter moved that the commercial catch limit be raised <br /> to three bushels with a one bushel maximum of littlenecks <br /> as recommended by the Shellfish Commission. Mr. Hanson <br /> seconded the motion. All were in favor. There was no <br /> public comment. <br /> • The Shellfish Commission recommended that permit fees be <br /> raised as follows: <br /> Resident. Family - Raise from $ 10. 00 to $ 15. 00 <br /> Non-Resident - Remain at $50. 00 <br /> Senior Citizens - Raise from no charge to $5. 00 <br /> Commercial from $50. 00 to $75. 00 <br /> Shellfish Grant - Raise from $ 10. 00 to $ 15. 00 <br /> Mr. Hanson moved that the Commercial fee be raised to <br /> $75.00, the Resident fee be raised to $ 15. 00, the Non- <br /> resident fee remain at $50. 00 , the Senior Citizen fee be <br /> $2. 00, the Shellfish Grant fee be raised to $ 15. 00. Mr. <br /> Gottlieb seconded the motion and Mrs. Jacobson was in <br /> favor. Mr. Carter and Mr. Lawrence were opposed. There <br /> was no public comment. <br /> Mr. Hanson moved to approve the following recommendations <br /> of the Shellfish Commission: <br /> • <br />
