s MASHPEE FINANCE COMMITTEE MEETING MINUTES MAY 23, 1995 MEETING COMMENCED AT 7:10PM Finance Committee members present: Dan Goggin, Chairman; Marcia King, Vice Chairman; Juan Bacigalupi and Sid Golub. Denise Sullivan and Tony Gallo were unable to attend. Please note for the record that the taping of this meeting is for the transcription of the Minutes only. Once the Minutes are approved, the tapes will be reused. Minutes Juan Bacigalupi MOTIONED to approve the Minutes of May 9, 1995 as written. Marcia King seconded the Motion and members approved the Minutes by a vote of 4-0. Correspondence The Finance Committee received a letter from Mike Kumin informing them of his desire to fill the vacant seat on the Finance Committee. The Committee asked that Joyce Mason be asked if there were any other applicants. Mr. Goggin mentioned that there was a letter of resignation from Deirdre Greelish from the Capital Improvement Committee. Mr. Goggin asked that the Committee think about other candidates for that Committee. Mr. Bacigalupi mentioned that the Committee should make sure their nominee is not in conflict with the By-Laws. The Committee also received a memorandum from the Executive Secretary regarding an analysis of benefits. Mr. Bacigalupi stated that he had attended the Selectmen's meeting the previous evening and Jim Vaccaro stated that he would like to meet with the Finance Committee to discuss contracts. The Selectmen's next meeting is June 5th, but the Committee did not feel that they would be ready to discuss contracts at that time. The Committee also received a memorandum from Marilyn Farren notifying all PAP employees of a Department Head meeting scheduled for Wednesday, June 7 , 1995 at 8 : 30AM. Ms. King asked that a letter be sent to Ms. Farren requesting a copy of the Classification and Compensation Study of the non-unionized positions. Mr. Golub mentioned that he would attend that meeting on behalf of the Finance Committee. The Committee received a letter from the District Attorney requesting a copy of the Minutes of May 2, 1995 and evidence of the posting of notice. There was also a Order of Notice, Civil Action Cover Sheet and a copy of a complaint against the Town and the Finance Committee.
